Goose Grass Control on Golf Course Turf

Pre – Emergent Herbicides – a fantastic tool. The trick is to apply the right product at the right time.

Typically triggered by high compaction. Best to apply pre–emergent herbicides in your infected area in February, September & mid–October.

Control the adults by dabbing and repeat the dabbing 21 days later.

Remember this weed is largely spread by seed so best to cut off seed as soon as it appears.

Poa Annua

Typically germinates in April & August.

Best to apply Pennant Magnum in early – July & follow up in mid–August, early March & mid–April.

Pennant can be used in fairways, tees & semi-roughs. Safe to tank mix with Peak & Casper.
