Subdue Maxx stops disease growth and prevents the development of disease within the plant. Subdue Maxx inhibits fungi by selectively interfering with the synthesis of ribosomal RNA. This in turn inhibits protein synthesis and all phases of fungal growth except spore germination. As a systemic fungicide, it enters the plant in two ways.1. Absorbed into the leaves and stems where it cannot be washed off by rain or irrigation. It will move upward in the xylem and translaminar across the leaf.2. Absorbed by the roots and translocated throughout the plant. In addition, Subdue Maxx has contact activity. After application, some product will remain on the soil surface where they control pathogens on contact.
