Velista®

Product overview

Velista® is a broad-spectrum SDHI fungicide formulated as a water-dispersible granule (WDG). It provides preventive and curative control of major turfgrass diseases including Dollar Spot, Large Patch, Brown Patch, Fairy Ring, Leaf & Sheath Spot, Anthracnose, and more.

It is designed for use on golf courses (greens, tees, fairways), sports turf, lawns, and commercial sod farms.

Personal Protective Equipment	Applicators and handlers must wear: Long-sleeved shirt and long pants Chemical-resistant gloves (butyl rubber, nitrile, neoprene, PVC, or Viton) Shoes plus socks Protective eyewear Contaminated clothing must be removed and washed separately.

Application Advice

Tank mixing	Velista may be tank-mixed or rotated with other fungicides such as Headway®, Banner Maxx II®, or Heritage Maxx® as part of a resistance management program. Avoid mixing with incompatible products.
Tank mix preparation	Fill the spray tank halfway with clean water. Add the required amount of Velista® while agitating. Continue filling the tank with water to the desired volume while maintaining agitation.
Implementation particular terms	Apply preventively when conditions favor disease development. For curative use, apply at higher label rates. For root zone diseases, water in immediately after application.
Mixing and spraying	Apply evenly using ground spray equipment. Ensure complete turf coverage without runoff. Maintain constant agitation during spraying. Rainfast once foliage has dried.
Water volume	200–400 L/ha (depending on turf density and sprayer type)
Rate of Use	Typically 2.1 kg/ha (equivalent to 0.3–0.7 oz/1000 sq. ft) Adjust based on disease pressure and target species.
