Microdochium matters |
Presented by Sean Loakes |
Many greenkeepers felt they had a handle on managing microdochium, yet this autumn's incredibly high pressure has seen some of the most devastating outbreaks on record. Although the risk factors for the pathogen are well understood - mild, humid temperatures and long periods of wet leaves - some of the ITM strategies to minimise other diseases can play into the hands of microdochium. Sean Loakes will reveal the findings of the Syngenta Microdochium State of the Nation report, as well as it's indications of how to aim for clean greens through the summer, for season-long benefits into winter. You can catch Sean's presentation for free in the Seminar Theatre (Hall 3) on Wednesday morning. |
