Description

Khaki Weed is a low growing, creeping plant that can form a dense surface mat. Stems are reddish in colour and spread from the crown and root at the node. Leaves are oval shaped with short stalks and are arranged in opposite pairs of equal size. Flowers are greenish or greenish-yellow and are grouped together in small clusters in the axils of the leaves. Flower parts may harden with age and form sharp prickles within the clusters.
