Mode of action:
Vertenzo contains prothioconazole (FRAC group 3) which is a synthetic compound of the triazolinthione family.
It is a broad-spectrum systemic fungicide with curative, preventative and eradicative action.
After absorption, prothioconazole moves into cells of the target organisms, affecting sterol biosynthesis and thereby disrupting membrane structure. This ultimately effects hyphal growth and germ tube elongation.

Vertenzo is a next generation turf fungicide designed specifically to meet the challenges of prolonged and high intensity seasonal disease pressure, induced by climate shift weather patterns. 

Introducing an entirely new active ingredient for turf disease control, prothiaconazole, its broad-spectrum activity provides exceptional control of microdochium patch and dollar spot - the two key and increasingly difficult turf diseases in the UK - along with targeting other problematic turf pathogens.

The easy to use formulation is quickly rainfast after application, making Vertenzo especially useful during challenging conditions most conducive to turf disease outbreaks.
