ACELEPRYN is approved for use in Ireland to target leatherjackets and white grubs in established amenity turfgrass and amenity grassland.

ACELEPRYN may be used in sports pitches, golf courses, race courses and gallops, bowling greens, airfields, professional application to commercial and residential lawns and other highly managed areas of amenity turfgrass and amenity grassland where the grass is very regularly mowed to maintain a short cut.

Classification and Security

Class of danger for Bees	Dangerous to bees.
Legal warning	To protect aquatic organism, respect an unsprayed buffer zone of 5m to surface water bodies. To protect bees and other pollinating insects do not apply to crop plants when in flower or when flowering weeds are present. Do not contaminate water with the product or its container (Do not clean application equipment near surface water. Avoid contamination via drains from farmyards and roads).

Personal Protective Equipment	Engineering control of operator exposure must be used where reasonably practicable in addition to the following personal protective equipment: Operators must wear suitable protective gloves when handling the concentrate and contaminated surfaces. WASH HANDS AND EXPOSED SKIN before eating, drinking or smoking and after work. WASH ALL PROTECTIVE CLOTHING THOROUGHLY after use, especially the insides of gloves.

Application Advice

Implementation particular terms	ACELEPRYN is a residual insecticide which controls 1st and 2nd instar larvae, larger 3rd instar larvae will not be controlled. The active ingredient in ACELEPRYN can take 3-4 weeks to move into the thatch/soil interface where the white grubs feed. After application irrigate immediately wherever possible with sufficent water to move the active ingredient into the thatch layer.
Mixing and spraying	Apply 0.6 l/ha in 500 litres water/ha. For hand-held knapsack sprayers apply 6mL per 100 m2 in 5 litres water/100m2 ACELEPRYN may be applied with all types of spray equipment commonly used for making ground applications. Do not apply through ULV sprayers. Ensure that the sprayer is clean and set to give the correct volume and an even deposit. Do not allow spray mixture to stand overnight or for prolonged periods. Make up only the amount of spray required for immediate use. Thoroughly wash all spraying equipment immediately after use using two or three rinses of clean water Tractor-mounted/trailed sprayers: Half fill the spray tank with water and begin agitation. Add the required quantity of ACELEPRYN to the tank and complete filling. Continue agitation until spraying is completed. Hand-held knapsack sprayers: Half fill the spray tank with clean water and add the required quantity of ACELEPRYN to the tank. Complete filling, mix thoroughly and use immediately.
Water volume	Apply at a water volume of 500 litres per ha. For hand-held knapsack sprayers apply at water volume of 5 litres per 100m2 Thorough coverage of all plant surfaces is necessary for the best results, but avoid run-off.
